EdFali Payment Policy

Last Updated: February 24, 2025

The EdFali Payment Policy defines the rules and procedures governing financial transactions within the platform, ensuring a secure, transparent, and efficient payment experience for both sellers and buyers. This policy outlines the payment methods allowed, the process for seller payouts, handling of refunds and disputes, and the measures in place to prevent fraud and unauthorized transactions.

This policy aims to:

• Establish clear payment procedures for all transactions within EdFali.

• Define seller payout schedules and how funds are disbursed.

• Outline dispute resolution mechanisms for refunds and chargebacks.

• Enforce security measures to protect users from fraud and payment-related risks.

By adhering to this policy, users contribute to maintaining a fair and reliable marketplace for everyone.

By using EdFali’s payment system, all users—whether sellers or buyers—agree to comply with the terms outlined in this Payment Policy in addition to EdFali’s Terms of Use, Seller Policy, and Privacy Policy.

• Sellers must exclusively use EdFali’s payment gateway to process transactions. Off-platform payments are strictly prohibited.

• Buyers must complete their payments through approved methods and adhere to the payment deadlines set by EdFali.

• Any violation of these payment terms may result in account restrictions, suspension, or permanent termination, depending on the severity of the breach.

By continuing to use EdFali’s platform, users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by this Payment Policy.

EdFali reserves the right to update or modify this Payment Policy at any time in response to regulatory changes, business needs, or security improvements.

• Users will be notified of significant updates via email, dashboard notifications, or official announcements on the platform.

• Any continued use of EdFali’s payment services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

• It is the responsibility of users to review this policy regularly to stay informed of any changes.

If a user disagrees with any updates, they must stop using EdFali’s payment services and request account closure before the changes take effect.

EdFali provides a secure and reliable payment system, ensuring that all transactions are processed through approved payment methods. Sellers and buyers must use one of the following officially supported payment methods when conducting transactions on the platform:

• Credit & Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)

• E-Wallets (PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay)

• Bank Transfers (where available)

• Cash on Delivery (COD) (for eligible sellers and regions)

Sellers are strictly required to use EdFali’s payment gateway for all transactions. Payments conducted outside the platform are prohibited and may lead to account suspension.

For Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions:

• The seller is responsible for ensuring that their selected logistics provider can handle COD payments.

• EdFali will deduct its platform commission from the seller’s balance or their linked payment method, ensuring compliance with platform fees.

• COD payments may be subject to regional restrictions, and eligibility will depend on the seller’s transaction history and reputation.

To maintain security and compliance, certain payment methods are strictly prohibited on EdFali:

🚫 Prohibited Payment Methods:

• Sending cash through mail

• Peer-to-peer cash transfer services (e.g., Western Union, MoneyGram)

• Cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, USDT, Ethereum, etc.) – Not currently supported

• Personal checks & money orders

• Unverified online payment services not integrated with EdFali

Attempting to process payments outside EdFali’s system or using unapproved payment methods violates platform policies and may result in permanent account suspension.

EdFali operates in multiple markets, allowing transactions in various currencies based on the seller’s and buyer’s locations.

• All transactions are processed in supported platform currencies.

• If a buyer makes a payment in a different currency, EdFali’s system will automatically convert the amount using real-time exchange rates.

• Currency conversion may be subject to a small processing fee, depending on the financial institution handling the transaction.

Sellers should be aware that:

• Payments will be settled in their chosen payout currency based on platform availability.

• EdFali is not responsible for fluctuations in exchange rates, and all converted payments are final.

• Some payment methods may restrict certain currencies, and sellers must check their payout settings accordingly.

EdFali reserves the right to modify currency exchange policies and fees based on market conditions and regulatory requirements.

EdFali is committed to ensuring a secure payment environment for all users by implementing industry-leading security measures. To prevent fraud and unauthorized transactions, EdFali employs:

• End-to-End Encryption (E2EE): All payment transactions are encrypted to protect sensitive financial information.

• AI-Powered Fraud Detection: Transactions are monitored using machine learning algorithms to detect suspicious activities.

• Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Required for sellers during payout requests to ensure account security.

• Chargeback Protection Measures: Sellers are provided with tools to dispute fraudulent chargebacks, reducing the risk of financial loss.

• Transaction Monitoring: Continuous surveillance of payment activity to identify and prevent unauthorized payments.

To maintain a safe marketplace, EdFali strictly prohibits:

🚫 Payment redirections to third-party platforms.

🚫 Sharing payment details outside the EdFali platform.

🚫 Misuse of chargeback systems to claim fraudulent refunds.

Any user found engaging in fraudulent activities may face account suspension, legal action, or permanent banning from the platform.

Before processing any transaction, EdFali conducts multiple verification steps to ensure legitimacy and prevent unauthorized payments. These include:

✅ Buyer Verification:

• Buyers must use a verified payment method that matches their registered account details.

• Large transactions may require additional identity verification (KYC) to prevent fraud.

✅ Seller Verification:

• Sellers must complete EdFali’s KYC process before they can receive payouts.

• High-risk transactions may be subject to manual review before funds are released.

✅ Authorization Protocols:

• All payments go through real-time authorization checks with financial institutions to confirm legitimacy.

• Transactions flagged as suspicious may be temporarily held for review before approval.

• If a payment is flagged, both the buyer and seller will be notified, and additional verification steps may be required.

Failure to comply with EdFali’s verification protocols may result in delayed payments, order cancellations, or account restrictions.

If a payment fails due to technical issues or financial restrictions, EdFali provides clear steps to resolve the issue efficiently:

🔹 Common Reasons for Failed Payments:

❌ Insufficient funds in the buyer’s account.

❌ Expired or invalid credit/debit card details.

❌ Technical issues with the payment processor.

❌ Security flags due to unusual transaction activity.

❌ Currency conversion issues or bank restrictions.

🔹 Steps to Resolve a Failed Payment:

• Buyers will receive a real-time error message explaining the issue.

• EdFali will attempt to reprocess the payment up to three times within a 24-hour period.

• If the issue persists, buyers must update their payment method or contact their financial provider.

• Orders with failed payments may be automatically canceled if payment is not completed within the required timeframe.

🔹 Disputed Payment Errors:

• If a buyer believes a payment was wrongly declined, they must contact EdFali’s Payment Support Team.

• If a seller experiences a delayed or missing payout, they can request a manual review through their dashboard.

• Refunds for duplicate or erroneous transactions will be processed within 7 business days after verification.

EdFali reserves the right to block repeated failed payment attempts and may restrict accounts with excessive payment failures or chargeback disputes.

EdFali provides a structured payout system to ensure secure and timely disbursement of seller earnings. Sellers must meet certain criteria before they can withdraw their funds.

✅ Eligibility Requirements for Payouts:

• Sellers must have a fully verified account (completed KYC process).

• The transaction must be marked as completed, meaning the order has been successfully delivered or the service has been rendered.

• No active disputes, chargebacks, or policy violations related to the transaction.

• Compliance with EdFali’s Seller Policy and Payment Policy.

✅ Payout Schedule:

• New Sellers: Payouts are held for 30 days after a completed sale to prevent fraudulent activity.

• Regular Sellers: Payouts are processed on a weekly or bi-weekly basis based on sales history.

• Trusted Sellers: Eligible for faster payouts (e.g., daily withdrawals) after meeting platform trust criteria.

EdFali reserves the right to adjust payout schedules based on seller risk level, transaction history, and platform security policies.

Sellers can choose from multiple payout options to withdraw their earnings. Payout methods may vary by country and currency availability.

✅ Supported Payout Methods:

• Bank Transfer (subject to regional availability)

• E-Wallets (e.g., PayPal)

💰 Payout Fees:

• Bank transfer fees vary based on the receiving bank and location (either a fixed charge or a percentage-based fee).

• Currency conversion fees apply if the withdrawal is made in a different currency.

Fees are transparently displayed in the seller’s payout dashboard before confirming a withdrawal request.

To ensure efficient processing, EdFali enforces minimum withdrawal amounts and limits per transaction.

✅ Minimum Payout Amount:

• Sellers must accumulate at least $100 (or equivalent in other currencies) before requesting a withdrawal.

✅ Withdrawal Limits:

• Daily/Weekly/Monthly withdrawal limits apply depending on the seller’s account tier.

• Certain payout methods may have maximum transaction limits enforced by financial institutions.

If a seller does not meet the minimum payout amount, the earnings will be carried over to the next eligible payout cycle.

To maintain platform security and minimize financial risks, EdFali may hold a portion of seller earnings in certain situations.

🔹 Types of Payment Holds:

• New Seller Holds: Funds may be temporarily held for 30 days until the seller builds a track record of successful transactions.

• High-Risk Transaction Holds: Payments may be held if the system detects unusual activity, such as high-value transactions, repeated refund requests, or excessive chargebacks.

• Dispute-Related Holds: If an order is under dispute, the funds related to that transaction will be held until resolution.

🔹 Reserve Funds Policy:

• A percentage of a seller’s balance may be held in reserve as a security measure for chargebacks or refunds.

• Reserve amounts depend on sales volume, risk assessment, and dispute history.

• Funds in reserve are gradually released based on seller performance.

Sellers will be notified via their EdFali dashboard whenever a payout is placed on hold, along with the reason and expected release date.

EdFali reserves the right to modify payout policies, adjust hold periods, or impose additional security measures to protect the integrity of the platform.

To ensure smooth transactions on EdFali, buyers must complete their payments within a specified timeframe after placing an order.

✅ Payment Deadlines Based on Order Type:

• Instant Buy Orders (Buy Now): Payment must be completed immediately at checkout.

• Pre-Orders or Custom Orders: Payment terms depend on the seller’s policy, but buyers must adhere to the agreed schedule.

If payment is not received within the deadline, the order may be automatically canceled, and the buyer’s account may face restrictions based on repeated non-payment behavior.

EdFali maintains a strict policy against unpaid orders to protect sellers from financial losses and prevent misuse of the platform. If a buyer fails to make a payment within the required timeframe:

🚨 Actions Taken for Unpaid Orders:

• The order will be automatically canceled after the deadline passes.

• The buyer may receive a notification warning about the unpaid order.

• Excessive unpaid orders may lead to account restrictions.

• Sellers will not be obligated to hold or reserve items for unpaid orders.

• If an unpaid order was due to a failed payment attempt, the buyer will be required to update their payment details before making future purchases.

Buyers should ensure that their payment method is valid and has sufficient funds to avoid cancellations or restrictions.

Repeated failure to complete payments disrupts marketplace operations and negatively impacts sellers. Buyers who consistently place orders without paying may face:

⚠ Gradual Penalties for Repeated Non-Payment:

1️⃣ First Violation: Buyer receives a warning and is advised to ensure future payments are completed on time.

2️⃣ Second Violation: Temporary restriction on making new purchases for a set period (e.g., 7 days).

3️⃣ Third Violation: Buyer is banned from placing orders until they resolve outstanding payment issues.

4️⃣ Severe Cases: EdFali may permanently suspend the account or limit access to marketplace features.

📌 Note: If a buyer believes an unpaid order was due to a technical issue or a mistake, they may contact EdFali Support to resolve the issue and restore purchasing privileges.

EdFali reserves the right to enforce stricter penalties on buyers who engage in repeated non-payment behavior to maintain marketplace integrity.

EdFali allows refunds under specific conditions to ensure fairness for both buyers and sellers. Refund requests must be initiated within the allowed timeframe and must comply with the platform’s policies.

✅ Valid Reasons for Refunds:

• The item did not arrive within the estimated delivery time.

• The item received is significantly different from the description or defective.

• The order was canceled by the seller before shipment.

• Duplicate payments or unauthorized transactions.

🚫 Non-Refundable Cases:

• Change of mind or buyer’s remorse (unless the seller allows returns).

• Digital products, services, or personalized items (unless the seller provides a refund policy).

📌 Refund Processing Time:

• If a refund is approved, it will be processed within 14 business days and credited to the buyer’s original payment method.

• Buyers must return the item (if required) before the refund is processed.

A chargeback occurs when a buyer disputes a transaction with their bank or payment provider, leading to a forced reversal of the payment.

🚨 Common Chargeback Reasons:

• “Item not received” – The buyer claims they never got the product.

• “Unauthorized transaction” – The buyer claims the purchase was made without their consent.

• “Item not as described” – The buyer claims the product was different from the listing.

✅ Seller Responsibilities in Chargeback Cases:

• Provide proof of delivery (tracking number, signed confirmation).

• Show evidence that the item was as described in the listing (photos, descriptions).

• Maintain clear communication with the buyer to resolve disputes before they escalate.

📌 Chargeback Resolution:

• If the seller provides sufficient proof, EdFali will dispute the chargeback with the payment provider.

• If the chargeback is found in the buyer’s favor, the seller may be required to refund the full amount.

• Excessive chargebacks may result in account restrictions or payout delays for the seller.

When a buyer and seller fail to reach an agreement, EdFali provides a structured dispute resolution process.

✅ Dispute Handling Process:

1️⃣ The buyer must open a dispute within 7 days of the transaction.

2️⃣ Both parties are required to submit supporting evidence (messages, photos, invoices).

3️⃣ EdFali’s mediation team reviews the dispute and issues a decision based on platform policies.

4️⃣ A final resolution is made, and if a refund is approved, the funds are returned to the buyer.

📌 Key Points:

• Sellers are encouraged to resolve disputes directly with buyers before escalation.

• If a seller fails to respond within the required time, EdFali may decide in the buyer’s favor.

• Disputes may impact seller ratings, so sellers should aim for fast and fair resolutions.

EdFali ensures fair protections for both buyers and sellers based on transaction history, product category, and supporting evidence.

✅ Buyer Protections:

• Refunds for non-delivered or significantly different items.

• Dispute resolution for payment-related issues.

• Money-back guarantees for eligible transactions.

✅ Seller Protections:

• Protection against fraudulent chargebacks when valid proof is provided.

• Ability to dispute unfair refund requests.

• Secure payments and fraud detection systems to reduce risks.

📌 Final Decision Authority:

EdFali’s dispute resolution team makes the final decision on all disputes, ensuring compliance with platform policies and industry standards.

🚨 Abusing the dispute system (false claims, fraudulent refunds) may lead to account suspension or permanent bans.

EdFali reserves the right to modify its refund and dispute policies as needed to maintain marketplace fairness.
